Morning Work

Read the following passage, then answer the questions.

Dinosuars lived millions of years ago. They were fierce reptiles. Some dinosuars were carnivores. A carnivore is something that only eats other animals. The T-Rex was a carnivore because it only ate meat and other dinosuars, unlike the Brontosauras, which used its long neck to reach plants in trees. Now, dinosuars are extinct. No one knows why. Maybe the food died. The most possible answer is that a crater hit Earth, and the climate got cold. Most dinosuars died, and the Ice Age began. Animals in the Ice Age had lots of warm fur. The Woolly Mammoth was so plump and fluffy it got its name Woolly, and the Saber Tooth Tiger had long, hooked teeth. Both died when the climate increased into what it is like today. Ancient Greek, Egypt, and Rome began. The first people evolved. Some say people evolved from birds, and others say Adam and Eve were created and had children. After thousands of years, in the 1800's, people talked and sounded like they do today. They knew how to write and read in English. 213 years later, it evolved into today. You are lucky you have trucks, donuts, and snacks to eat. In the early ages, you wouldn't.

1. Why are Woolly Mammoths called Woolly?

2. Are Ancient people simular to us? If no, who was?

3.Where dinosuars mammals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, or birds?

BONUS
Do you think we evolved from birds, or were Adam and Eve really the first?
